Choose your challenge from one of three drop-shoulder tees with lots of cool, positive ease, knit in-the-round from the bottom to the arm openings, then knit flat to the shoulders and seamed.
1. Key West
Key West is a quick knit pattern with a sand and sea nautical vibe. The body is knit in stockinette, with a solid stripe across the yoke in both a contrasting color and stitch pattern. I love Luma from the Fibre Co for summer knits - the yarn has enough wool to be resilient, yet it's cool to the touch. Here are two suggested Luma colorways:
Sarina made her tee in the Dune colorway. Check out her progress on the KnitWiz Summer KAL Ravelry thread

2. Pagosa Rose
Pagosa Rose will take more time to knit. The yarn is another great summery yarn - Meadow, also from the Fibre Co. It's a heavy lace/light fingering combination of silk, linen, wool and baby Llama. The main body is again stockinette, but with a contrasting rose mosaic pattern across the yoke. The neckline and sleeves are edged and hemmed with the contrasting yarn; the purl ridge lends a delicate picot effect to the edging. I made this for my sister in "Black Adder" and "Lavender" with a gauge of 8 sts/inch on US 2 needles.
3. Brush Creek
This tee, knit from Luma DK (the Fibre Co) was inspired by memories of childhood summers spent playing in the creek at the end of the road. The edging used at neck and arm openings continue the themes of water and movement.
Kits are available for all three patterns at kindredknits.com/collections/summer-tee-kits.
If you would like a different color combination than the ones listed, email me (cathy@knitwiz.com) or convo me on Ravelry. It will be fun to see what everyone is doing!
